Brazos Valley Bank extended an invitation to all non-profit organizations in the Bryan/College Station Community to apply for our new Investment Recycling Initiative. Our Investment Recycling Initiative is a feature of our Go Green campaign and another way we contribute to our community. Brazos Valley Bank appreciates the overwhelming support we have received from our community over the past five years. As an effort to thank the community for their support, Brazos Valley Bank has allocated 10% of our 2009 projected net income for charitable contributions in 2010.
The Investment Recycling Initiative is simple. We extended an invitation to all charitable non-profit organizations in and around the Bryan/College Station area to participate in the initiative. In order to participate in the program, the Investment Recycling Application needed to be completed and submitted to Lindsay Green, on or before September 1, 2009, along with a copy of the organization’s 501(c) filing.
Due to the overwhelming positive response from the community, Brazos Valley Bank opened the voting to the entire Brazos Valley Community. The community was able to vote on the allocation of a portion of Brazos Valley Bank’s 2010 charitable budget. The six non-profit organizations that received the most votes will receive donations from Brazos Valley Bank. In January 2010, these funds will be recycled back into the Bryan/College Station community where the community feels it is needed the most.
Brazos Valley Bank created the Investment Recycling Initiative as our way of giving back to the community we call home. Thank you for your support. If you have any questions concerning the Investment Recycling Initiative, or would like more information, feel free to contact Lindsay Green at messages@bvbank.com or (979) 690-BANK (2265).
Thank you to everyone that voted and Clicked for a Cause - you made your opinion count. Voting for the allocation of the Investment Recycling Initiative ended at the close of 2009.
